Duston Mill, conveniently located near the centre of Northampton, is also in close proximity to the M1, train station, and several hotels. Although typically serving as a wedding venue, this winter, Black Ducks will be transforming it into an amazing party space.

Our experienced mixologists add an extra touch of magic to our Christmas parties. With their skillful craftsmanship, they create a selection of delicious and refreshing drinks that perfectly compliment the festivities. We also have a second bar which is fully stocked with all your favourites, including draught lager.
Our in house band, Six Feet Apart and resident DJ (Mark from MDJ Functions) will be present at all events unless stated. Let us know if you would like to personalise your private event further with close up magicians, fire shows or other entertainment.
Parties of 70+ enjoy exclusive use of the venue and we will work with them to fully customise their event. Parties of less than 70 will share the venue with other bookings.
Please note: If considering our Drinks Wristbands or any of the Drinks Packages, these are in addition to the ticket price and the same wristband or package must be ordered for each person in your booking.

Yes, as well as multiple thermostatic heaters throughout the venue, we also have a covered fireplace to ensure that the Mill is comfortable and warm, regardless of what’s happening outside.
Yes, absolutely! If possible, please let us know beforehand if any member of your group has special requirements so that we can make their experience as enjoyable as possible.
The deposit per person is £20 + VAT and is non refundable and non-transferrable.
Your booking isn’t confirmed until the deposit has been paid for every guest.
If it is less than 6 weeks from your event then the full amount will be due to confirm your booking. This is because the final balance of any party will be due at this time.
We try to be as flexible as possible and will do everything we can to accommodate changes up to 2 days before your party, however we cannot guarantee this. Provided we have availability, you can add to your booking.
Please note, availability is subject to change and tickets are on a first come, first served basis. You can add or decrease the number of guests in your booking by sending written confirmation via email to jimmy@blackducks.co.uk to confirm how you would like to proceed in regards to your booking number. Full payment is required in order to secure additional tickets.
If you wish to reduce the number of people in your party, any monies already paid are non-refundable and non-transferable meaning these payments cannot be used towards any additional orders or balance payments. For example, you cannot use this money for drinks packages, or any add ons etc.
For one of our shared nights, minimum booking number is 6 guests. For a whole venue booking, minimum guest number is 60.
Due to our liscencing, all guests must be over 18.

Yes, we have parking for over 200 vehicles, including buses/mini buses.
Yes, both of our bars accept all forms of payment.

Black Ducks offer temporary bar hire for corporate functions and events of all sizes.
Private party bar hire for any event. If you’re having a birthday or anniversary, we can provide your bar.
